DEER VALLEY RESORT; PARK CITY, UTAH (Winter 2012/2013) - Deer Valley Resort is pleased to announce the sponsorship of current U.S. Freestyle Ski Team athletes Bryon and Brad Wilson. Deer Valley began sponsoring Bryon in 2010 and recently added Brad to their roster of athletes.

With long-time roots in Park City, the brotherly duo of Bryon and Brad Wilson has taken freestyle mogul skiing by storm. Champion blood runs in the Wilson clan, Bryon winning the bronze medal at the 2010 Games, and Brad climbing his way up the World Cup rankings.

"It is an honor to support the Wilson brothers in their athletic quest," says Bob Wheaton, resort president and general manager. "Bryan and Brad are incredible athletes and ambassadors for the sport of Freestyle Skiing. They are source of inspiration for all of us and we are thrilled they have chosen to represent the resort in addition to skiing and training here."

Bryon, 24, showed the world his competitive drive when he got an unexpected start on the World Cup circuit and earned a spot on the 2010 Olympic team headed for Vancouver. With the fire burning hot, Bryon took third in freestyle moguls and brought an Olympic bronze medal back to the U.S. Prior to his worldwide debut, Bryon received the 2007 Junior World Champion, 2007 Nor Am Champion and 2009 National Champion titles. Coming off an ACL injury as he heads into this pre-Olympic season, Bryon is excited to get back into the gate and represent the U.S. at the next Winter Games. And with one of the most challenging mogul courses in the world at Deer Valley, Bryon couldn't be in a better position to make those goals a reality.

Brad, 20, earned his first title in 2009 when he became the Junior National Champion. Fast forward to 2012, when he crushed the competition with eight World Cup top 10 results, earned the FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year in men's moguls and took home the FIS Junior World Championship all before the season ended. Together with his brother, Brad is excited to take his success into this pre-Olympic season and show the world his fierce athleticism on the slopes of Deer Valley.

A longtime host to the world's best freestyle skiing athletes, Deer Valley Resort will once again welcome an FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup (The Visa Freestyle International) to its slopes January 30 - February 2, 2013. This event will mark the 11th World Cup that Deer Valley has hosted, in addition to the 2002 Olympic Winter Games and two World Championships, making the resort a celebrated mecca for the international freestyle community. Watch the Wilson brothers in action during this year's FIS Freestyle World Cup event at Deer Valley. Mogul events are scheduled on the Champion ski run during the evening of Thursday, January 31 and Saturday, February 2, 2012 and are free to the public.
